Arcadia Recovery Bureau, LLC is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that accuses it of misrepresenting the status of a consumer’s alleged debt.
New York
Arcadia Recovery Bureau, LLC is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that accuses it of misrepresenting the status of a consumer’s alleged debt. The plaintiff in the case claims she received a debt collection letter from Arcadia that stated her balance “as of the date of this letter.” The suit argues that the defendant falsely implied in the letter that the plaintiff’s balance may increase in the future, despite knowing her account “is not subject to change.”
