A lawsuit claims AmeriMex sent automatically generated telemarketing text messages to a Georgia man with no prior relationship with the company.

A proposed class action filed in Georgia claims defendants AmeriMex Solutions, Inc. and AmeriMex Communications Corp. sent automatic telemarketing texts to consumers’ cell phones without consent to do so. The plaintiff, who claims in the suit he has neither prior business relationship with the defendants, nor speaks Spanish, says the companies sent him nuisance text messages advertising their services from a “short-coded” phone number in September and October 2017.
