American Lifeline, Inc., which does business as probiotic supplement company Florajen, is the defendant in a proposed class action that claims it unlawfully clogged up proposed class members’ fax machines by sending junk advertisements. Filed in Wisconsin by a non-profit corporation, the complaint says the defendant sent unsolicited faxes about the purported benefits of Florajen without first receiving express invitation or permission from recipients.
