Altegra Health has been hit with a putative class action lawsuit in Illinois alleging it violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act specifically in regard to unsolicited faxes. The suit claims that the plaintiff did not give express invitation or permission to be sent faxes from the defendant and that the faxes did not include the required opt-out language. The suit hopes to certify a class dating back four years.
