Silbaugh v. AGR Group, LLC
Filed: September 22, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-01993
A proposed class action claims AGR Group robocalled consumers' cell phones without consent to promote its services.
Energy industry sales and services company AGR Group, LLC is the defendant in a proposed class action that claims it placed unsolicited calls to consumers’ cell phones nationwide without prior consent. Citing possible Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) violations, the lawsuit claims AGR used automatic dialing equipment to call consumers as part of a campaign to promote its services and those of other third-party energy suppliers. The plaintiff argues he had no prior relationship with the defendant before the calls began.
