Benhayon v. Adobe Systems, Inc.
Filed: December 27, 2017 ◆§ 0:17cv62566
A consumer claims Adobe disregards consumers' privacy rights by sending unsolicited marketing text messages without consent.
A proposed class action filed against Adobe Systems, Inc. aims to hold the software company accountable for its alleged practice of disregarding consumers’ privacy rights by sending telemarketing text messages without consent to do so. The plaintiff, a Florida resident, claims he received a text message, an image of which is included in the complaint, from the defendant in August 2017 promoting its Adobe Scan mobile app, a communication the case says was sent via an automatic telephone dialing system.
