A class action has been filed in Pennsylvania alleging Four Corners Property Trust, Inc. and two related companies violated Title III of the American with Disabilities Act with regard to wheelchair-bound individuals. According to the lawsuit, the defendants “implemented policies and practices that…result in access barriers at defendants’ facilities.” Specifically, the suit notes issues with slopes in parking spaces, aisles and curb ramps, as well as a lack of spaces designated as “van accessible.” The suit is seeking a declaratory judgment that the companies are violation of the ADA and a permanent injunction directing the defendants to remove the architectural barriers named in the suit.
