The court-authorized website for the Lilly Lashes class action settlement can be found at LillySettlement.com.
The deal covers all residents of the United States or its territories who purchased any false eyelashes made with mink fur sold by Lilly Lashes and labeled as “cruelty-free” for personal, family, household, or professional purposes between June 7, 2018 and February 28, 2025.
Class members must file a valid claim form online or by mail by May 15, 2025 to receive a Lilly Lashes settlement payout.
You can submit a claim form online on this page. Alternatively, you may print a PDF claim form to complete and return by mail.
Class members will be given the option to enter their claimant identification number, which was provided in the settlement notice you may have received via email or mail. You can still file a Lilly Lashes claim form if you did not receive a notice or do not have a claimant identification number.
According to the settlement agreement, eligible individuals who submit a timely, valid claim form and either appear in Lilly Lashes purchase records or provide proof of purchase can receive up to $10 per unit bought.
“If you enter a valid Claimant Identification Number, you do not need to submit Proof(s) of Purchase, as your purchases are already recorded in the Class List and your disbursement will be calculated based on those purchase records,” the settlement website says.
Class members who do not appear in Lilly Lashes purchase records and are unable to provide valid proof of purchase can file a claim form to receive one $10 cash payment per household.
Court documents indicate that payment amounts may increase or decrease on a pro-rated basis depending on a number of factors, including the number of individuals who submit valid claims, the amounts decided upon for attorneys’ fees and plaintiff service awards, and settlement administration costs.
The Lilly Lashes settlement was preliminarily approved by the court in February 2025, and a final approval hearing is set for July 29, 2025. Settlement payments will be issued to eligible consumers “a few months” after the court officially okays the deal, provided there are no appeals, the website relays.
The initial class action lawsuit against Lilly Lashes claimed the company’s mink eyelashes, marketed as “cruelty-free,” were actually made from mink fur obtained through methods harmful and abusive to the animals. As part of the settlement, the defendant has agreed to discontinue the use of “cruelty-free” claims on its product packaging and other marketing materials.
