The court-authorized website for the HP class action settlement can be found at HPSettlement.com.
The HP settlement agreement, which was granted preliminary court approval on February 24, 2025, covers a class of approximately 287,784 United States residents who purchased a qualifying product at a discount on HP.com between June 5, 2021 and October 28, 2024. The deal does not include consumers who purchased more than two of the same covered product in the same order, the agreement notes.
According to the HP settlement website, products covered by the deal include HP desktop computers, laptops, mice and keyboards that were discounted more than 75 percent of the time they were offered for sale during that period. A full list of products covered by the HP settlement can be found on this page.
Class members who submit a valid claim form online or by mail by June 9, 2025 are eligible to receive an HP settlement cash payout.

You can file an HP settlement claim form online on this page. Alternatively, you may download a PDF claim form or contact the settlement administrator to request a paper copy to complete and return by mail.
To submit a claim form, you will need your unique class member ID, which can be found on the personalized settlement notice you may have received by mail or email. If you did not receive a notice, you must provide the name and product number associated with the qualifying item you bought, the date of purchase, the quantity purchased and the order number linked to the transaction, the website says.
Per the site, eligible class members who file a timely, valid claim form will be entitled to a share of the $4 million settlement fund after deductions are made for administration costs, service awards and attorneys’ fees.
Cash benefits range from $10 to $100, depending on the product or products that were purchased, the website relays. The estimated cash benefits associated with each covered item can be found on this page.
The site adds that individual payment amounts may be adjusted on a pro rata basis if necessary to exhaust the settlement fund.
The parties now await a final approval hearing set for August 21, 2025, at which time the court will determine whether to grant ultimate approval to the terms of the deal. HP settlement rebates will be issued to eligible class members only if the deal receives final approval, and after any appeals are resolved.
The HP class action lawsuit alleged that the company’s fraudulent discounting scheme on HP.com violated several California laws and deceptively induced consumers to pay more for products by creating a false impression of their value.
