The official, court-approved website for the ParkMobile settlement can be found at ParkMobileSettlement.com.
The deal, which received preliminary approval from the court on November 5, 2024, covers all individuals to whom ParkMobile sent a notice about the 2021 data breach. The settlement site states that these individuals were sent an email notice about the ParkMobile settlement.

All ParkMobile settlement class members can file a claim for a cash payment from the $9 million cash fund. ParkMobile settlement cash payouts from the $9 million fund will be capped at $25 per person, the website states. Filing a claim form is the only way to receive cash from the settlement.
Class members who do nothing will automatically receive via email a $1 credit for use in the ParkMobile app. Those who receive the code will have one year from the date the email is sent to input it into the app and use the credit.
The overall cap for the ParkMobile app credit is $21 million, as there are approximately 21 million people eligible to participate in the ParkMobile settlement, the website states.
Lastly, the deal includes a $2.5 million credit for “business remedial measures” implemented by ParkMobile, court documents relay, and $300,000 to go toward administration costs.
ParkMobile settlement payouts will be sent sometime after the court decides whether to grant final approval to the terms of the deal and after any appeals are resolved. A final approval hearing is scheduled for March 13, 2025.
The initial ParkMobile data breach lawsuit alleged the 2021 incident was a “direct and proximate result” of the company’s failure to implement rudimentary cybersecurity measures. Information compromised in the ParkMobile data breach included users’ license plate numbers and, if provided, email addresses, phone numbers and vehicle nicknames, the lawsuit claimed.
