The deal with the manufacturer, formerly known as HALO Innovations, Inc., covers all consumers in the United States (including its territories and tribal reservations) who purchased a HALO BassiNest Flex Morning Mist or HALO BassiNest Flex Heather Weave on or before February 10, 2025.
To receive a HALO settlement cash payout, eligible class members must submit a valid claim form online or by mail by June 10, 2025.

According to the HALO BassiNest Flex settlement website, class members who submit a timely, valid claim with proof of purchase are entitled to receive up to $30 per bassinet purchased, per household.
Consumers who file a claim without proof of purchase may receive up to $10 for each product they bought, per household, the site shares.
Cash payment amounts are subject to adjustment on a pro rata basis, up to a maximum of $90 for claims with proof of purchase and a maximum of $30 for claims without proof of purchase, the website says.
The site notes that no recall has been issued for the HALO BassiNest Flex bassinets. While the class action suit contended that the apparent defect posed a risk to infants, HALO “stands by the safety” of its products and continues to deny the allegations, according to the website. The $1.5 million settlement represents a “compromise” between the parties, the site says.
The settlement agreement, which resolves the HALO BassiNest Flex class action lawsuit, was preliminarily approved by the court on February 10, 2025. The parties now await a final approval hearing set for October 9, 2025, at which the court will determine whether to ultimately approve the terms of the deal.
Settlement payments will be issued to eligible consumers only if the court officially okays the deal, and after any objections are resolved, the website relays.
