CertainTeed Siding Problems for California Home Owners
California homeowners may qualify for a CertainTeed class action lawsuit due to allegations that the company failed to properly design and test its products before their release into the marketplace, and neglected to honor product warranties when faced with claims of CertainTeed fiber cement siding problems. The following were among the CertainTeed siding issues experienced by homeowners:
- Gapping between siding boards
- Shrinkage of boards
- Cracking and warping of fiber cement siding
There have also been reports that CertainTeed fiber cement siding can freeze during cold temperature and displays poor paint adhesion and considerable moisture absorption.
