Uber was hit with another proposed class action on Tuesday that alleges the ride-sharing company breached a contract with its drivers by failing to pay rates in accordance with a winter promotion. Drivers who participated in the promotion were guaranteed certain rates upon meeting a set of conditions. This suit claims that the drivers who met these conditions (accepted at least ninety percent of trips and averaged at least one trip per hour) were not paid the promised rates, but were instead paid an average hourly rate with fees deducted from the advertised rates.
