Ford Is Being Sued Over Exploding Panoramic Sunroofs
Ford has been hit with a federal class action claiming that its panoramic sunroofs are prone to exploding. According to the lawsuit, Ford ignored the fact that the sunroofs installed in many of its luxury vehicles are too thin and can explode – causing a sound that can be compared to a gunshot and glass to fall on the driver. Here’s a list of the affected models:

Williams-Sonoma Settles Security Check Suit
Preliminary approval has been granted to a $1.2 million settlement in a lawsuit claiming that Williams-Sonoma failed to properly pay its warehouse and factory workers. According to the suit, Williams-Sonoma’s workers weren’t paid for the time they spent in mandatory security checks before and after their shifts and breaks. On average, each employee will receive $1,135 when the settlement is granted final approval.
Children’s Hospital LA Settles Overtime Class Actions
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is set to pay $27 million to settle four class actions that claim it failed to pay its employees proper overtime. The settlement will cover 9,546 current and former Children’s Hospital employees who worked for the hospital between April 2004 and May 2016.
Dave & Buster’s Facing Suit in Oregon Over Payroll Debit Fees
Dave & Buster’s has been hit with a class action claiming that it cheated employees out of wages. According to the lawsuit, Dave & Buster’s paid its Happy Valley, Oregon employees with payroll debit cards for their first and last paychecks – and the included fees deprived them from receiving everything they earned. The suit is looking to cover a class of more than 100 former employees of D&B’s Happy Valley location.
Comcast Sued for Alleged Wiring Repair Fraud
Comcast of Missouri is facing a proposed class action claiming that it failed to make wiring repairs in its customers’ homes – despite charging a fee to cover the service. The suit claims that Comcast violated the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act by refusing to honor its “Service Protection Plan.”
Hair Relaxer Lawsuits
Women who developed ovarian or uterine cancer after using hair relaxers such as Dark & Lovely and Motions may now have an opportunity to take legal action.
