Kraft Changes Its Defense in Cheese Color Class Action
Two consumers who brought a case against Kraft Foods are asking for partial summary judgment after Kraft changed the angle of its defense. Initially, Kraft claimed that its fat-free cheddar cheese is “natural” because the artificial coloring in the cheese is only “artificial” because the Food and Drug Administration requires all color additives to be called artificial color, even if they are natural. Now, Kraft is saying that the cheese contains no artificial coloring despite court documents and product labels that say otherwise, according to reports.

JP Morgan, however, allegedly failed to apply the discounted rate despite having a website dedicated to its commitment to those serving in the military. The lead plaintiff is looking to claim monetary relief on behalf of a proposed class of military service members.

According to the suit, which was lodged in California, Walgreens should have made sure that Theranos’ products worked as they were advertised before they were sold to customers.
