Denny’s Settles FLSA Class Action

Neurobrands Settles False Advertising Lawsuit
Neurobrands LLC is set to pay $500,000 to settle claims that it deceptively marketed its Neuro energy drinks. According to the lawsuit, Neuro was advertised as being able to ease muscle cramps, support users’ immune systems and help with sleep patterns – all without any scientific proof. Along with the monetary part of the settlement, Neurobrands has also agreed to change Neuro’s labels and marketing strategy.
PNC Force-Placed Insurance Settlement
Florida judge Jonathan Goodman has granted approval to a $32.3 million settlement between PNC Bank and homeowners who claimed that the bank charged too much for force-placed insurance. Goodman found that if the case were to undergo more litigation, class members could find themselves with nothing to show for their efforts. According to Goodman, “some things get better with age, but not class action lawsuits involving lender-based insurance.”
P.F. Chang’s Lawsuit Brought Back to Life
