Nestle Hit with Lawsuit Claiming Purina Products Were Mislabeled

A lawsuit filed Monday claims that Nestle falsely labels its Purina products as “made with love in the USA.” Why? Because the dog food actually contains foreign ingredients, according to the suit. Consumers continue to be wary when it comes to foreign animal food, since it has been shown that foreign ingredients could be contaminated with bacteria, toxins or heavy metals that could be harmful to pets. The lawsuit claims that Nestle deceived its customers and charged a premium for domestic ingredients – while also using potentially harmful foreign ones.

Women who developed ovarian or uterine cancer after using hair relaxers such as Dark & Lovely and Motions may now have an opportunity to take legal action.
