Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats Settlement Details Announced
Last Updated on June 27, 2017
Details are now available for members of the class affected by the Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats Cereal lawsuit.
Kellogg’s faced legal action over the veracity of its claims that Frosted Mini-Wheats helped children’s attentiveness, memory, and other cognitive functions. The suit argued that there was insufficient scientific data supporting the claims, and although Kellogg’s deny any wrongdoing, they have agreed to an out-of-court settlement valued at $4 million. This decision, which has been provisionally approved, supersedes an earlier settlement which was overturned by the Court of Appeal.
Consumers are now invited to seek compensation of $5 for every box of the cereal they purchased.
