A New York man has filed suit against Smith Haven Chrysler alleging the defendant sent him a series of text message advertisements in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
A New York man has filed suit against Smith Haven Chrysler alleging the defendant sent him a series of text message advertisements in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). According to the complaint, the texts were sent using automated dialing technology without the plaintiff’s prior consent. The man claims he received at least 11 text messages from the dealership since March 2017.
