Glass Mountain Capital LLC is the defendant in a proposed class action lawsuit that alleges violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). The plaintiff claims the debt collector requires a minimum credit card payment of $25 on its online portal, but that minimum card payments may not exceed $10 under the FDCPA. According to the lawsuit, “[the defendant’s] requiring a $25 minimum credit card payment constitutes a false representation and communication of credit information which is known or which should be known to be false.”
