Filed: August 2, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-02906-CAP
Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle, LLC (GKIC) is facing a proposed class action lawsuit filed by a law firm that claims the marketing company sent it illegal fax advertisements.
Georgia
Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle, LLC (GKIC) is facing a proposed class action lawsuit filed by a law firm that claims the marketing company sent it illegal fax advertisements. The defendant allegedly sent several faxes to the firm despite lacking prior consent or an “established business relationship.” The plaintiff says the faxes were meant to advertise the defendant’s services and did not contain the required opt-out notice on the first page informing the recipient of its right to refuse future faxes and providing the information necessary to do so. As a result, the suit deems the faxes illegal under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
