Ideal Image of Florida, LLC has been accused in a proposed class action lawsuit of unlawfully sending telemarketing text messages to consumers’ cell phones without their prior consent. The plaintiff in the case says she received in April 2018 an automated text message from the medical spa company advertising its “CoolSculpting” service but never provided the company with express consent to receive marketing texts. The suit argues that the text message caused the plaintiff “actual harm, including invasion of her privacy, aggravation, annoyance, intrusion on seclusion, trespass, and conversion.”
