A law office in Tennessee has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Cylcomm, LLC (which does business as DirectLodging.com), alleging TCPA violations.
A law office in Tennessee has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Cylcomm, LLC (which does business as DirectLodging.com), alleging that the travel company sent unlawful fax advertisements without obtaining prior consent from recipients. The plaintiff claims it received multiple faxes from Cylcomm in an attempt to solicit its business, and that the law office had no prior business relationship with the defendant. The faxes purportedly consumed the plaintiff’s time and resources and failed to provide the required “opt-out” notice that would allow the recipient to decline future faxes.
