Vi Living Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Vi Living data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On March 13, 2023, Classic Residence Management Limited Partnership (which does business as Vi Living) experienced a security breach where an unauthorized third party gained access to its corporate office network and data server. During an investigation, the company learned in July 2023 that consumers' personal information, including their names and Social Security numbers, were accessed. Vi Living began sending data breach notices to those affected in early September.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Vi Living to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
