V12 Software Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the V12 Software data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
V12 Software, Inc., which offers an online-based platform for car dealerships to manage and market their business, has reported a massive data breach to at least one state attorney general's office.
The V12 Software data breach reportedly affects more than 286,000 individuals and exposed information that includes names, Social Security numbers and driver's license numbers.
The incident was published to the website of the Texas attorney general on March 21, 2024, and further information on the data breach is currently limited.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force V12 Software to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
