TriHealth Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the data breach affecting TriHealth .
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Ohio-based health system, TriHealth H, LLC, operating as TriHealth Physician Partners, has issued a notification to individuals affected by a data security breach involving one of its vendors. On October 23, 2024, TriHealth found out that this vendor experienced unauthorized access to electronic documents related to care provided by For Women, an OB/GYN group that joined TriHealth in January 2020.
The breach affecting TriHealth, which did not compromise the company's own network or records from after For Women’s integration, involved historical data, including sensitive personal information such as names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, claims data, and detailed clinical information like medical conditions, medications, lab results and treatment histories.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force TriHealth to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
