Transformative Healthcare - Fallon Ambulance Service Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Transformative Healthcare - Fallon Ambulance Service data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Transformative Healthcare has reported that over 911,000 individuals may have had their information exposed in a data breach that occurred after its former subsidiary, Fallon Ambulance Service, ceased operations in 2022. Fallon, a medical transportation company that operated in the greater Boston area, provided emergency response services and administrative support to affiliated medical transportation companies.
The breach was discovered on April 21, 2023, when suspicious activity was detected within Fallon’s data storage archive. A subsequent investigation revealed that unauthorized access to Fallon’s computer systems occurred between February 17 and April 22, 2023, potentially compromising personal information such as names, addresses, Social Security numbers, employment-related details and medical data, including COVID-19 testing and vaccination information.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Transformative Healthcare to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
