TEAM Software Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the TEAM Software data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
TEAM Software, which provides software for cleaning, security, and facilities management service providers, has reported a data breach that may have impacted the personal information of 99,525 individuals. The breach was detected on July 26, 2024, when TEAM Software noticed unusual activity on some of its platforms. An investigation, supported by cybersecurity and forensic experts, revealed that an unauthorized party gained access to specific systems on July 25 and July 26, 2024.
According to a notice provided to the Maine Attorney General's Office, the information exposed in the TEAM Software data breach potentially includes names, Social Security numbers and driver's license numbers.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force TEAM Software to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
