Stanley Steemer Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Stanley Steemer data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On March 6, 2023, Stanley Steemer, a company specializing in residential and commercial cleaning services, discovered suspicious activity relating to its computer systems. Prompted by this discovery, the company initiated an investigation to ascertain the nature and extent of the incident.
The investigation revealed that an unauthorized individual had gained access to Stanley Steemer's network between February 10 and March 6, 2023. During this period, the unauthorized actor was able to retrieve certain files from the network, which may have contained sensitive customer data such as names, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers and financial account information.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Stanley Steemer to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
