siParadigm Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the siParadigm data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On June 11, 2024, siParadigm, a company that partners with medical providers to provide lab testing and diagnostics services, discovered unauthorized access to its computer network. A third-party forensic investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor may have accessed files relating to diagnostics and related services, potentially compromising individuals’ names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses and medical information.
It’s been reported to the Maine Attorney General’s Office that the siParadigm data breach impacted 26,534 individuals.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force siParadigm to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
