Sage Home Loans Corporation, formerly known as Lenox Financial Mortgage Corporation and doing business as Weslend Financial, is reaching out to notify individuals about a data security incident that potentially compromised their personal information. The incident occurred on December 19, 2023, when Lenox discovered unusual network activity consistent with a ransomware attack. An investigation determined that an unauthorized individual gained access to the Lenox network on December 5, 2023 and obtained certain data on or around December 19, 2023. Lenox promptly began reviewing files to identify the potentially affected information.
In total, 27,746 individuals were affected by this incident.
