Regional Family Medicine recently disclosed a data security incident that occurred between June 8 and June 26, 2023. The Mountain Home, Arkansas healthcare practice experienced an IT outage on June 26, which led to the discovery of unauthorized access to its network.
Following a review of potentially impacted files, which concluded on October 13, 2023, Regional Family Medicine determined that personal information belonging to certain employees and patients may have been compromised. The exposed information varies by individual and may include names, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state identification numbers, dates of birth, biometric data, medical information, health insurance information, and account numbers.
Affected individuals have been notified by mail about the incident.
