Propark Mobility Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Propark Mobility data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
In early September 2024, Propark Mobility revealed that a data security breach may have compromised personal information provided in connection with employment. The company, known for offering parking and mobility services across over 1,000 locations nationwide, has concluded its investigation into the incident and, since August 28, 2024, has been in the process of notifying those at risk.
The Propark Mobility data breach was first detected on January 18, 2024, prompting the company to enlist outside experts to assess the situation and reinforce their cybersecurity protocols. The breach is believed to have occurred between January 15 and January 18, 2024, leading to a potential exfiltration of certain data, which may include dependent information.
The data potentially impacted includes names and other personal details, varying by individual. A report submitted to the Texas Attorney General's Office indicates that Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial information, medical information, health insurance information and date of birth may have been exposed.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Propark Mobility to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
