Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Prime Case data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On April 12, 2024, Prime Case LLC, a legal funding service, discovered that an employee fell victim to a phishing attack. This breach allowed an unauthorized party to access the employee’s Microsoft credentials and subsequently their email. After an investigation, the company determined that the unauthorized party may have accessed personal information stored in a repository.
The Prime Case data breach has potentially impacted individuals’ names, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers and medical information.
