Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Panorama Eyecare data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Panorama Eyecare has reported a data breach in which an unauthorized party may have gained access to the company's internal network. Initial findings suggest that personal information of employees and protected health information of patients may have been impacted, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license/state IDs, and financial account information, as well as dates of service and medical providers. Approximately 377,911 individuals are believed to be affected by the Panorama Eyecare data breach.
Panorama Eyecare, a management services organization, supports its partners through the management of day-to-day business operations. The company lists the following as its partner clinics: Eye Center of Northern Colorado; Panorama Lasik; Denver Eye Surgeons; Cheyenne Eye Clinic & Surgery Center; Evergreen Vision Clinic, PC; Haas Vision Center; Windsor Eye Care & Vision Center; Arvada Vision & Eye Clinic; Boulder Eye Surgeons; and 20/20 Vision Center.
