Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the On Q Financial data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On February 20, 2024, mortgage lender On Q Financial was notified about a vulnerability in ScreenConnect, a software program it used for remote access to computers in its network. In response, On Q Financial launched an investigation, which revealed suspicious activity through the application. It was determined that an unauthorized individual had accessed On Q Financials’ computer network and exfiltrated personal information about its clients.
The On Q Financial data breach has reportedly exposed the names and Social Security numbers of 211,650 individuals.
