NSC Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the NSC data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
The breach was discovered on June 26, 2023 when the staffing firm became aware of suspicious activity within its computer systems.
An investigation determined that NSC Technologies was a victim of a sophisticated cyberattack, resulting in the unauthorized acquisition of certain files between June 19 and June 20, 2023. After an extensive review, it was determined on November 1 that the compromised files contained sensitive information such as names and Social Security numbers.
NSC Technologies reported that the incident affected individuals who previously applied to or were employed by the company or its subsidiaries, including Anistar Technologies, Consolidated Marine Systems, Nationwide Temporaries, Staffing Resources, Staff Matters, Superior Resource Group and ULG Companies.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force NSC to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
