Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Morrison Child and Family Services data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Morrison Child and Family Services, a Portland, Oregon nonprofit that provides mental health and substance use disorder treatment, recently announced a data breach involving unauthorized access to its network, potentially exposing the personal information of certain current and former clients.
Following an investigation concluded on April 12, 2024, Morrison determined that the incident may have compromised an array of personal and health information, although the types of exposed information vary by individual. According to a notice posted on the company's website, individuals' names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, health insurance details, client ID numbers, Medicaid numbers, and medication and treatment information may have been compromised in the Morrison Child and Family Services data breach. Morrison is providing written notice to all impacted individuals.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
