Monmouth College, a liberal arts college in central Illinois, has announced a data breach that impacted 44,737 individuals. The breach, which was caused by a ransomware incident, occurred between December 6 and December 14, 2022. Personal information including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, financial and medical information, dates of birth, and driver's license/government-ID numbers may have been exposed. Those affected by the Monmouth College data breach are now being notified of the incident via mail.
