Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the M&D Capital Premier Billing data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
M&D Capital Premier Billing LLC and affiliated companies ASC Strategic Services LLC and Drachman Katz LLP discovered suspicious activity on M&D's network around July 8, 2023. Following an investigation, it was determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed certain systems beginning on June 20, 2023.
M&D, which provides medical billing and related services to healthcare providers, wrote in an online data breach notice that all patient demographic and health-related information provided to certain clients may have been exposed in the incident, including patient names, addresses, medical billing and insurance details, medical information (including diagnoses, medications and treatments), Social Security numbers, dates of birth and financial information.
Affected individuals are being provided mailed notice of the M&D Capital Premier Billing data breach.
