Keystone Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Keystone data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On December 17, 2023, Keystone Pacific Property Management detected unusual activity that disrupted access to certain systems. The company secured its network and launched an investigation with the help of independent cybersecurity experts. The investigation revealed that unauthorized individuals had acquired certain files from Keystone’s network, some of which contained personal information.
A review of the affected data concluded on August 19, 2024 and revealed that the Keystone Pacific Property Management data breach exposed at least individuals’ names. Although the company’s publicly available data breach letter does not specify other types of compromised information, personalized letters have been sent to notify victims about which specific data was impacted.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Keystone to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
