KemperSports Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the KemperSports data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On April 1, 2024, KemperSports, a golf course and hospitality management company, discovered suspicious activity that affected its computer systems. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized user had accessed certain data that day.
The KemperSports data breach potentially compromised at least the names and Social Security numbers of 62,815 individuals, most of whom are current and former employees. A report submitted to the Texas Attorney General's Office indicates that addresses, driver's license numbers, financial information, medical information and health insurance information may have also been exposed.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force KemperSports to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
