iTP Partners Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the iTP Partners data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
iTP Partners, a financial advisory firm with locations in Florida, New York and several other states, has reported a data breach resulting from an email phishing incident that exposed personal information. The breach involved unauthorized access to employee email accounts at different times between March 15, 2024 and March 22, 2024. An investigation into the incident revealed that the unauthorized party potentially accessed emails and attachments containing sensitive data, including names, Social Security numbers, and financial account numbers.
In letters mailed to affected individuals around February 28, 2025, iTP Partners wrote that although it is not affiliated with Osaic Wealth, Inc., its financial professionals are registered with the company "for the sale of securities products and provision of financial advice." The letters indicated that Osaic Wealth's systems were not impacted by the iTP Partners data breach.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force iTP Partners to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
