Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Innovative Renal Care data breach.

As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.

American Renal Management LLC, operating as Innovative Renal Care, reported a data breach affecting personal and medical information, including data belonging to people who received services from the network of dialysis centers and providers the company oversees. The breach occurred when an unauthorized actor accessed Innovative Renal Care's computer systems from February 21 to March 1, 2024, during which sensitive files were copied.

The information compromised in the American Renal Management data breach includes names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state ID numbers, financial account information, taxpayer identification numbers, electronic signatures, health insurance details, medical billing and claims data, medical diagnoses, treatment information, prescription data, medical record numbers, and patient account numbers.

Innovative Renal Care has taken measures to secure its systems and is notifying affected individuals on behalf of dialysis centers and providers.
