Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Greensboro College data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Greensboro College launched an investigation after detecting suspicious activity in its computer systems on August 17, 2023. It was determined that an unauthorized party had accessed the college’s computer systems between August 10 and August 21, 2023.
According to Greensboro College’s notice of the security incident, information exposed in the breach may include individuals’ names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or state identification numbers, financial account information, dates of birth, passport numbers, medical information and health insurance information.
