The incident occurred around August 15, 2023, when unauthorized access to the company's computer systems led to the compromise of personal information such as Social Security numbers, names, addresses, driver's license numbers, financial information, and health insurance details. Golden Corral Corporation confirmed that sensitive information belonging to individuals was viewed and/or acquired between August 11 and 15, 2023. On February 16, 2024, Golden Corral began providing direct notice to those affected by the breach.
