GardaWorld Cash Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the GardaWorld Cash data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
GardaWorld Cash, a security services provider, has recently announced that it experienced a cybersecurity incident in 2023 that affected administrative files stored on some of its facility systems in Florida.
Unauthorized access to the systems occurred between October 30 and November 16 of last year, with certain files being copied by the intruder. Nearly 40,000 individuals may have had personal information exposed in the GardaWorld Cash data breach, such as their names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, dates of birth, health insurance information and medical information.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force GardaWorld Cash to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
