ESO Solutions Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the ESO Solutions data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
ESO Solutions, Inc., a healthcare software services provider, has suffered a ransomware incident in which an unauthorized third party gained access to and encrypted some of its computer systems. The breach was detected on September 28, 2023 and reportedly affected 2.7 million patients of the hospitals and healthcare systems for which ESO provided services.
ESO discovered during a subsequent investigation that patients' personal data, including names, Social Security numbers, phone numbers, addresses, and medical treatment information, may have been acquired by the unauthorized party.
The company began notifying affected patients via mail on December 12, 2023.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force ESO Solutions to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
