Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the DISA data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
DISA Global Solutions, Inc., a company specializing in employment screening services, experienced a data breach that was discovered on April 22, 2024 and reportedly affected 3,332,750 individuals. The breach involved unauthorized access to a limited portion of DISA's network from February 9, 2024 to the discovery date.
The files accessed in the DISA Global Solutions data breach may have involved personal details such as names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, other government identification numbers, and financial account information. These records were part of DISA's employment screening data.
A report submitted to the Texas Attorney General's Office states that medical information, health insurance information and dates of birth may have also been exposed. Notification has been sent to those whose information was compromised.
