Delta Health System (DHS), a Mississippi healthcare provider, detected unusual network activity on January 21, 2024, prompting an investigation with third-party specialists. The probe revealed unauthorized access to certain DHS information between January 15 and January 21, 2024.
The potentially impacted information varies by individual and could include names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, U.S. Alien Registration numbers, driver’s license/state ID numbers and financial account details. The Delta Health System data breach may have also exposed individuals’ treatment and diagnosis information, prescription information, provider names, medical record or case numbers, Medicare/Medicaid ID numbers, health insurance details and treatment costs.
